Bommer Canyon Ridge view of Saddleback Mountain. As part of Irvine Ranch, Bommer Canyon served as the center for the Irvine Company cattle operation for more than half a century. Bommer Canyon is also an important preservation area for many local plants and wildlife, including several endangered species. This magnificient open space is part of the Irvine Ranch Natural Landmarks in Orange County, California, and has trails for hiking, mountain biking and horse-back riding.
