Die Fischweiber (The Fish Wives) fountain by sculptor Rainer Walk.
The Fischmarkt was a fish market square along the Rhine River, dating back to medieval times. The fish wives are waiting for their husbands and seem to be very bored, great expressions and body language. This historic center has become a gathering place and many of the buildings have become restaurants and shops.
